2023 Keep Australia Beautiful NSW Sustainable Cities Awards finalists

We’re excited to announce that eWaste Sydney has earned a finalist spot in the 2023 Sustainable Cities Awards by Keep Australia Beautiful NSW (KAB NSW) in the Circular Economy category!

We feel honored to stand among the 65 finalists selected across various categories, and we take pride in our team’s dedication to advancing the circular economy.

Our achievement as a finalist is a direct result of our program, “EduCycle Ewaste Revive.” This program aims to have a significant impact by assisting schools and the educational sector in responsibly recycling ewaste, diverting it from ending up in landfills.

“EduCycle Ewaste Revive” showcases our commitment to sustainability and education. Through this program, we empower schools to take action by equipping them with the necessary resources and knowledge to engage in eco-conscious electronic waste recycling.

We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to KAB NSW, the judging panel, and all those who participated in this competition. Your dedication to sustainability is actively driving meaningful change in our region.

Winners will be revealed on October 12th, during the Sustainable Cities Awards Luncheon. This event hosted by the 2022 Overall Award Winner, Randwick City Council, at the Prince Henry Centre in Little Bay. We eagerly anticipate joining this celebration of innovation and sustainability.
