Environmental Policy

eWaste Sydney (IT Ewaste Solutions) recognises our responsibility to protect the environment and is committed to minimising the environmental impacts of our operations. Our Environmental Policy ensures that sustainability and environmental responsibility are integrated into all aspects of our business activities.

We shall:

• Comply with all applicable environmental legislation, regulations, and other requirements.
• Manage and minimise environmental risks associated with e-waste collection, transport, processing, and recycling.
• Prevent pollution by implementing responsible practices that minimise emissions, waste, and hazardous material release.
• Promote resource recovery by maximising reuse, recycling, and material recovery from end-of-life electronic equipment.
• Establish measurable environmental objectives and targets that align with our sustainability goals.
• Engage employees, contractors, and stakeholders in environmental awareness and responsibility.
• Support initiatives that enhance biodiversity and carbon reduction, including tree-planting programs on behalf of clients.
• Continuously improve the effectiveness of our Environmental Management System in line with AS/NZS 5377:2013 and ISO 14001:2015.

This policy is reviewed annually as part of our management review process to ensure ongoing suitability and effectiveness.
